A huge thank you to the staff at this superb venue for a truly wonderful wedding yesterday, the marriage of our Son, Joe to his beautiful bride Martika. Amazing customer service, amazing food, wonderful views, warm fire inside and out. Cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

My wife and I got married here 4 months ago (took a while for us to get online to do reviews). We cannot thank the staff enough. The venue was stunning. The moment we first looked around Sam fell in love with the place. Ashlee was away giving birth during our planning, but not once did she let a question go unanswered. She would always reply within 24 hours and made our planning so easy. The place is a nice, laid back style venue, which suited us perfectly. They were accommodating to us having a small wedding. A few places we looked at didn’t seem to happy about hosting a wedding with less than 50 people, but not once did we feel as though our wedding was any less important than anyone else’s.

The service we received on the day was second to none. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. They were flexible with timelines to suit us. The staff were there during the day helping run the day so we didn’t have to stress about anything and we could go about enjoying ourselves.

The ceremony was great (held at the Chapel) and the reception flew by. The Food was unreal and we had many compliments from guests regarding both the food and the venue.
We cannot fault the venue. The views are spectacular, the grounds made for amazing wedding photo’s & everyone involved were great to deal with. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Lovedale. Thank you so much, we wouldn’t have wanted our day spent anywhere else.

We knew when we walked into Lovedale Wedding Chapel and Reception that it was the place for us. From our first meeting to our wedding day a year later we were never left wondering what was going on. The manager was always on hand via email to offer advice, suggestions or answer general questions, typically within 24 hours of an email being sent. They were very accommodating allowing us to visit the site a few times in the lead up to the wedding to allow us to get sizes for decorating the venue and understand what we needed to arrange. The reception hall is the perfect location for a wedding, small or large. We had 106 guests in total and none of them had their backs to the wedding party, the table layout options are fantastic and allow all guests to have a great view of the wedding party. The tables can also be shrunk or expanded (within reason) to suit the guest numbers.  They provided outstanding customer service and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for a wedding. They also have loads of suggested suppliers they have used and are a great source of information for your wedding day. When we went to pack up the morning after the wedding we arrived to find they had done 90% of the work!! That is the type of venue you are hiring, a venue that goes above and beyond from day one. The food, supplied by Eden Catering was top notch, our guests has been raving to us about how good it was. Communication from the first day we visited until after the wedding was outstanding.

Lovedale Chapel and Reception went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable for our wedding day. Very reasonably priced and the best value for money in the hunter valley. The outlook of the reception is stunning and feels very private. They answered question after question that I had in the year long lead up to the wedding and were very quick to respond via email. They were very patient with us at the rehearsal by going through everything we had to do and made it easy for us by playing music and giving us ques to walk down the aisle. The inclusions in the packages mean that they do all the hard work with setting up tables etc but you have a blank canvas to decorate yourselves. Food was incredibly yummy and everything went off completely perfectly without a hitch! They also made it easy for us to set up and pack up afterward as well. Our guests raved about the location, organisation and the food! They really could not have done any better and we are so thankful for everything they did to make our day everything we had dreamed and more!
